Bunjil Place – Digital Campaign Strategy

The Background

A vibrant new entertainment precinct, Bunjil Place unites creativity and community in the City of Casey. With facilities ranging from an outdoor community plaza to a theatre, the variety of spaces lend themselves to both exciting and diverse entertainment and activity options, enabling visitors to enjoy a personalised and memorable experience.

The Project

Such a bold vision for the space required an equally exciting launch. Bunjil Place engaged SGY to plan and design a launch campaign that effectively communicated their vision for the community across a variety of digital platforms. One of the key objectives of the project was to drive the centre’s vision to be a welcoming space that celebrates and invites participation, belonging and civic pride. As an inclusive facility, it was essential that this was communicated in a means that was accessible and understandable to the wider community.

The Results

To effectively communicate the vision for Bunjil Place, SGY designed an integrated opening launch campaign strategy spanning across Facebook, Google search and display. Prioritising both social media and search engines ensured that all communication was effective, targeted and accessible by audiences. This integrated approach ultimately contributed to a sellout opening weekend, measurable awareness within the wider community and a 69% increase in EDM database members.
